Marketing To the Next Generation
Posted on June 10, 2010No secret: Almost 78% of the decisions families make regarding their Internet behavior are directed and influenced by kids! There is more curiosity about ways to reach kids- tweens and teens than almost any other people group. The voice of kids at all ages leads the way ears perk up!
We help telcos have a 'Vibe Discussion' with a core team of the company to begin the process of letting 'kids be kids' with your technology...as spokespersons for telecom products and services of their local network, you'll be amazed who they will win over!
A few success stories:
Palmetto Telephone recently invited local high school students to help them name their computer networking group. Not only did they end up with a cool name — The PRTC Tech Crew — they formed relationships with this customer group that can benefit them through IPTV and wireless introductions.
United Telephone continues a longstanding tradition of asking tweens (local fifth graders) to dream about technology in an essay contest. It's great to see the potential young people see in technology and truly make an impact on their lives so when they think of technology, they think of the local network.
